Hello my name is Dan Collins, I got my start in construction at the age of 15 helping my brother who is a Master carpenter around the jobsites during my summer vacations, I think at that age I really fell in love with the whole construction process starting with a pile of raw lumber and when your done you've created something Beautiful. When I turned 17 my brother got me into the carpenters union and helped get me my first serious job in a large cabinet shop as an apprentice. we spent years traveling throughout the bay area installing high end cabinetry and millwork at some of the bay areas premier locations. I had the honor of learning from many old school craftsmen. After four years I graduated from the carpenters apprenticship program and then spent an additional three years as a Journeyman Carpenter I decided to spread my wings in 1989 and start Custom Interiors, It's been a true labor of love. We've spent the last 22 years exclusively in the Finish Carpentry field.
